Disney Princess Hen Party FAQs

Do we need to know the dances already?

Absolutely not! Our York instructors are fairy godmothers at teaching complete beginners. We start with basic princess poses and build up gradually - think of it as discovering your inner princess rather than a dance test. Whether you're a Yorkshire local or visiting our beautiful city for the hen weekend, we guarantee you'll be twirling like Cinderella within minutes. The magic of Disney dance is that believing in yourself counts more than perfection!

What Disney songs will we dance to?

Get ready for the ultimate Disney princess playlist! We spin everything from "Let It Go" to "A Whole New World," plus all the magical melodies that make dreams come true. Our York DJs have curated the perfect blend of classic princess anthems and modern Disney hits - expect "Part of Your World," "Beauty and the Beast," and "How Far I'll Go." Got a favorite princess song? Let us know! Our state-of-the-art sound system will make you feel like you're in a fairy tale castle!

Should we dress up as Disney princesses?

YES! While optional, we absolutely encourage embracing your inner princess! Bring tiaras, tutus, glass slippers, and flowing gowns. The more magical, the better! Past York hen parties have channeled everything from Elsa's ice queen elegance to Belle's golden ballgown beauty. Pro tip: The costume shops on Goodramgate have amazing princess accessories. Don't forget the sparkly makeup and fairy tale hair - in Disney, dreams really do come true!

Is this suitable for all ages?

Absolutely! Disney magic unites all generations - we've had grandmas twirling alongside their granddaughters! Our York instructors are brilliant at adapting princess moves for different fitness levels. Whether you're 5 or 75, Disney's enchanting soundtrack brings everyone together. It's particularly popular with multi-generational hen parties exploring York - nothing bonds the group like learning Elsa's "Let It Go" choreography together! Plus, who doesn't want to feel like a princess at any age?
