Spice Girls Hen Party FAQs

Do we need to know the Spice Girls routines already?

No way! Wannabe a Spice Girl but can't dance? No problem! Our fantastic York instructors welcome all abilities - from die-hard fans who know every move to complete beginners. We start with simple steps and build up to the full girl power experience. Whether you're a Yorkshire local or visiting our historic city for the hen weekend, you'll be hitting those iconic poses within minutes. Remember: the Spice Girls were all about confidence and friendship - technique comes second to attitude!

Which Spice Girls songs will we dance to?

Get ready for the ultimate girl power playlist! We blast out all the classics - "Wannabe," "Spice Up Your Life," "Stop," "Who Do You Think You Are," and "Say You'll Be There." Our York DJs have every hit from their Spice World domination, plus some deep cuts true fans will love. Want to focus on a particular era or video? Just tell us what you want, what you really really want! Our professional sound system in York's studios will transport you straight back to the 90s!

Should we dress as our favourite Spice Girl?

ABSOLUTELY! While optional, we LOVE when hen parties go full Spice! Whether you're Sporty, Baby, Scary, Posh, or Ginger, embrace your alter ego! Past York hen parties have gone all out - think platform boots, Union Jack dresses, leopard print, tracksuits, and pigtails. The charity shops and vintage stores near The Shambles are perfect for finding 90s treasures. Pro tip: Assign each hen a different Spice Girl for the full lineup! Remember: in true Spice style, too much is never enough!

Is this suitable for all ages and abilities?

Girl Power has no age limit! The Spice Girls unite all generations - we've had mums who were 90s teens dancing alongside daughters discovering the magic for the first time! Our experienced York instructors adapt the energy level to suit everyone, from gentle moves to full-on "Spice Up Your Life" cardio. Whether you're 18 or 80, the message of friendship and empowerment resonates. It's brilliant for multi-generational hen parties in York - nothing bonds a group like declaring "Friendship Never Ends" together!
